My time with the Quinnipiac Chronicle really helped kick my passion for fitness and health writing into high gear. I enjoyed hearing people's thoughts and stories when it came to how they lived their lives and what choices they made. It was in college where I finally understood what it meant to be healthy and learned the even bigger message that my "healthy" and my own "fit" is different from others.

Make Fitness a Habit not an Obsession
This is an opinion piece that I wrote when journey to be healthy was in its beginning stages. I was constantly working out and it was close to dictating my life. After a lot of thinking I figured out how to rationalize it all and decided to write about it. Client in training, the road to the show!
For almost a year, I've been doing social media and marketing for a local personal training studio, Dynamic Pulse Fitness. The trainer and owner of the studio, Jeanette, is a figure competition winner and is currently training a client for a show! I got to sit down and talk with her about her progress and wrote a piece for her own blog about her progress and commitment to fitness.
